The outboard motor XW4.0 consists of gasoline engine, support frame, transmission system and output system.
The outboard motor is powered by the four-stroke single cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, which is directly connected to the output shaft through the transmission system, so as to cause high-speed rotation of the propeller and move the vessel forward.
1. The outboard motor is designed with forward gear, reverse gear and neutral gear, and features clutch output. The motor body can rotate 360 degree flexibly.
2. The motor mounting height can be freely adjusted from 0.6m to1m.
3. Designed with recoil start, it is easy to start in all seasons.
4. It has features of compact structure, light weight, and is easy to carry.
5. According to the repair provisions of national gasoline engine, we are responsible for any malfunction found during the warranty period.
6. The four-stroke outboard motor adopts the latest fuel-saving technologies, using the advanced hemisphere combustion chamber, so that gasoline can be fully burned and every drop of gasoline can be transformed into power. However, for the two-stroke outboard motor, some unburned gasoline and engine oil are discharged into the water and lead to waste and pollution. The fuel-efficient rate of our four-stroke outboard motor is as high as 50%.
7. It can adopt optional anti-seawater corrosion materials, stainless steel screws, aluminum body, which ensures long service life. All the plastic parts are made of engineering plastics, which guarantees long-term anti-aging and non-deformation.
8. The optional dual-impeller propeller can avoid the accumulation of seaweed, and is easy to clean.
9. Due to the large engine torque, our outboard motor has more sufficient and powerful horsepower than that of the two-stroke outboard motor. This advantage in horsepower is especially obvious when running in medium-low speed.
10. The starting system is of high performance and easy operation. It can be easily started by pulling the rope wrapped around the starter pulley quickly. This outboard motor has a variety of models with difference in body length, operation direction (front or back), etc., so as to suit different hull forms and operation needs.
11. The clean and pure gasoline fuel makes the discharge index corresponding to the CE and EPA standard. Moreover, unlike the two-stroke outboard motor, it won’t pollute the aquatic products, such as fish, shrimp and crab.
12. The lubrication system of our outboard motor is comparable to that of the car. Due to the pressurized oil circulation, bearings and other components that need to be lubricated can get direct oil supply. In addition, the maximum throttle can realize more than twenty hours of continuous operation, resulting in no power attenuation and additional fuel consumption.
13. It adopts precision bearings and circulating oil lubrication system, which ensure smooth operation. The good silencer design reduces the noise and makes it comfortable to use.

Operation Instructions (As shown in the pictures below)
It will cause serious damages in case the outboard motor runs without enough lubricating oil.
Make sure the gasoline engine stops running and kept in the vertical position when checking the engine oil.
1. Remove the oil gauge.
2. Dry the oil gauge, and then insert it into the oil filler.
3. If the oil level is low, add the recommended oil, and make sure the oil level is not over the limit marks of the oil gauge (initial filling volume: 600ml). The SAE10-30 four-stroke gasoline engine oil is recommended for use when the temperature is above -15 ℃, and the SAE5W-30 four-stroke gasoline engine oil is recommended when the temperature is below -15 ℃.
1. Throttle grip: It is installed at the bottom of the steering handle. It will accelerate when turning anticlockwise, and will slow down when turning clockwise.
2. Stop switch: The outboard motor XW4.0 can be stopped by pushing the stop switch.
3. Choke lever: When the gasoline engine is provided with enough fuel mixture, you should push the choke lever to the "start" side, and then pull it to the "run" side.
4. Starter handle: Pull the starter handle slowly until you feel resistance, and then pull it quickly to start the gasoline engine.
The gear box of the outboard motor should be filled with sufficient gear oil.
Replace the gear oil regularly. Check the O-ring, if damaged, it must be replaced.
